Based in Central Auckland, Macalister Construction are trusted residential builders specialising in home renovations, new builds, and minor dwelling projects. As experienced Auckland minor dwelling builders, we service the full region — from South Auckland (Papakura) to the North Shore (Albany) and every suburb in between.
We use a structured quoting process that prices every aspect of your project upfront, minimising costly variations that other companies might overlook. Our approach ensures clarity, fairness, and confidence in your budget — with no hidden surprises along the way.
With Robbie Macalister at the helm, you’ll deal directly with the owner from start to finish. Unlike larger firms, we don’t pass your project down the line—Robbie will be there for measure-ups, quoting, and hands-on construction.
We take pride in our work, going above and beyond on every detail to ensure the highest level of aesthetic appeal, durability, and precision.
We stand behind our work. As a Halo Certified Builder, we can offer the optional Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee, providing added peace of mind and independent protection for your investment.
We show up on time, every time and keep you in the loop at every stage—no ghosting, no excuses.
As a New Zealand Certified Builder, we are able to offer the Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee on eligible residential projects.
The Halo Guarantee provides independent protection against structural defects and workmanship issues, giving homeowners additional peace of mind long after the build is complete.
